Welcome to my website! 

I am a Postdoctoral Research Economist at the Institut für Mittelstandsforschung (IfM) Bonn. 

I receveid my PhD in Economics from Maastricht University in May 2025. Please find my thesis here: Economic Resilience to Physical Climate Shocks - The Roles of Financial and Firm Structures 

In my research, I investigate how firms and finance shape the economic resilience, development, and sustainability of economies in the face of shocks, crises, and in particular climate change. 

As an applied economist, I use rigorous econometric analysis, novel and large datasets, and interdisciplinary perspectives to expand our collective knowledge and inform policy that addresses the major challenges of our time.
